How to withdraw free spins winnings: when it is real money
A free spin pays £6, and whether you get to keep that £6 hinges on three lines in the promotion terms: whether winnings are paid as cash or as bonus, whether a cap applies, and how long you have to use them. This guide analyses those lines at all ten casinos we review, the licence condition that now limits wagering, and the withdrawal minimums that decide whether a small win can leave the account at all.

Cash, bonus or capped: the three states of a free-spin win
Every free spin on this page rewards its winnings in one of three states, and the promotion terms identify which. Recognising the three is most of the work.
1. Paid as cash
The win goes to your real-money balance and can be withdrawn like a deposit. Monopoly: "Any winnings from Free Spins are credited to your account as cash." Betfred: "There are no wagering requirements attached to any winnings received from the Free Spins."
2. Paid as bonus
The win is bonus money until a wagering requirement is met. BetVictor: "All casino bonuses (free spins or casino cash or casino bonus funds), will have a specified wagering/play-through requirement before they are released as real cash into customer accounts." Coral: winnings are "a Casino withdrawal restricted bonus".
3. Cash, but capped
Real money, with a ceiling. NetBet: "Some promotions include a maximum winnings cap. Any winnings above the stated cap are forfeited." MrQ: "If your free spins had a maximum win cap, they'll stop once that cap is reached."
BetMGM's help centre says the same thing in one paragraph: "Whether your Free Spin winnings are withdrawable immediately or require wagering depends on the specific offer. Some Free Spins pay out in real money, while others may include wagering requirements. Always check the terms of the promotion you received to confirm how your spins work." The table below does that checking for the offers we cover.
The 10x rule
Until 19 January 2026, wagering requirements were uncapped. The licence now sets a ceiling, and it also defines the term in a way worth quoting back to a casino.
"Apply wagering requirements, which requires a customer to play through bonus funds, over a maximum of 10 times. A wagering requirement is where a customer is required to make wagers totalling a particular value for funds to become withdrawable."
Gambling Commission, LCCP social responsibility code 5.1.1, listed under what licensees "must not" do
The same code states that terms have to be "clear, transparent, and fair and readily accessible", and bans the mixing of products in one incentive, so a casino free spin cannot be combined with a sports bet. The Advertising Standards Authority has the rule on the word itself: "Marketers should not describe an offer as 'free' if the customer must risk their own money to qualify", and any ad must carry the significant conditions, which its guidance says "are likely to include any minimum stakes, details of how to participate in the promotion and any wagering requirements".
In the second state above, the 10x ceiling does bite. BetVictor's £30 casino bonus carries 10x wagering with a £300 maximum withdrawal, the licence maximum and a cap together. The six casinos that pay daily-prize spin winnings as cash never reach that rule at all.
How to withdraw free spins winnings at all ten casinos
Each row reads the casino's own promotion terms, help centre or the daily-prize terms we captured for its review. "Daily prize spins" are the free spins won on the wheels and games that place these casinos on SpinRewardz (ranked on our daily free spins page); "welcome spins" are the sign-up offer.

Looking at the first column, the split is six casinos paying daily-prize spins as cash without a cap, two paying cash with a cap, and two treating the win as bonus. How a cap actually works
A cap is not a deduction at withdrawal. It is a limit that stops the spins, or trims the credit, as soon as it is reached.
MrQ explains the mechanism: spins with a cap "stop once that cap is reached", which is why a player with 50 spins can find 30 of them have been used. NetBet describes the alternative: winnings "above the stated cap are forfeited", which means the spins continue but the excess never lands. In either case the cap is in the terms before the first spin, and both casinos instruct you to look there.
Caps seem harsh until you compare them with the stake value of the spins. Betfred's Prize Reel and NetBet's Wheel of Gold both run spins at 10p:
A cap set at twice the stake value is generous for a free daily spin, and the majority of 10p spins never come close to it. The caps that matter are the ones tied to bonus money. A prime example is BetVictor, which places a £300 withdrawal limit on a £30 bonus, ten times the bonus, which is exactly the licence's wagering ceiling expressed as a payout ceiling.
Expiry: the clock that costs more than any cap
Spins that are not claimed or used are worth nothing, and the windows on this page range from a few hours to three months.
Two clocks, not one
A claim window and a use window. BetMGM's wheel spins "expire at 23:59 each day if not claimed", then the prize "may come with their own expiry". Sky makes you "click 'claim prize'" and then use the spins "within 7 days". Betfred's welcome choice must be made "when the bonus message is displayed".
What expiry takes with it
At Coral, both the spins and their winnings: "you'll lose any Free Spin winnings and any spins remaining." At BetVictor, unfinished wagering by the expiry date means "any remaining bonus funds, including bonus winnings, will be forfeit." At the cash-paying casinos, only the unused spins.
LiveScore's 90 days on spins won in its Daily Free Game is the longest window on the page, and the shortest is Paddy Power's 24 hours on a Wonder Wheel prize. Everything else sits between three and seven days, so the practical approach is to play a free spin on the day it arrives.
The withdrawal minimum, where small wins get stuck
Even a £4 cash win is not withdrawable if the cashier's floor is £10. The word that decides whether daily prize winnings ever leave the account is minimum.
£10 is the least you can withdraw at BetMGM, Monopoly, MrQ and NetBet. Sky and BetVictor set it at £5. LiveScore's cashier lists £5 per method but says "If your balance is less than £10, please get in touch with customer support." BetMGM's answer to the same problem is the same: "If your cash balance is less than £10 and you wish to withdraw it, please contact Customer Support for assistance." BetVictor: "If your balance is less than £5 but equal to or greater than £1, you can still withdraw your funds by contacting our Customer Services Team", and "Balances below £1 cannot be processed."
The other trap is the closed loop. Free-spin cash goes out by the method you deposited with, and at a casino you have never deposited at there may be no route at all. Paddy Power's withdrawal page says a card is verified by deposit: "In order to verify your card, you must deposit first." How to withdraw free spins winnings, step by step
The same six steps at every casino. The differences are which ones you can skip.
- Claim, then use every spin. Some spins only become winnings once every free spin is used. Betfred only moves winnings "once all free spins have been used", and unused spins expire. LiveScore's chips work the same way: "All free chips must be used in full before any cash winnings are credited to your account balance."
- Check which balance the win landed in. A win that lands in the cash balance is withdrawable straight away. BetMGM: "Cash winnings: These funds do not have a wagering requirement and are available for withdrawal at any time." A win sitting in a bonus balance is state two, and step three applies.
- Clear any wagering on the named games. BetVictor states that "All bonuses carry a wagering/play-through requirement which must be completed on a specific selection of games." NetBet advises that withdrawing early means "The initial bonus amount and any winnings from the bonus will be deducted from your account."
- Make sure verification is done. Monopoly pays free-spin winnings "subject to standard checks", and every casino noted here holds a first withdrawal until identity is confirmed. Our bank statement guide covers what to send.
- Pick the method the closed loop allows. The cashier shows how. LiveScore advises that "the withdrawal page will automatically show how much must be withdrawn to each method to meet Net Deposit requirements."
- Be at least at the minimum, or ask. £5 or £10 depending on the casino. Below that, support can approve a cash out by hand at BetMGM, BetVictor and LiveScore.
Daily free spins and the prize wheels
The daily schemes are where the most generous answers to the cash-or-bonus question are found.
Six of the ten pay their daily prize spin winnings as cash with no wagering requirements: Betfred's Prize Reel, BetMGM's Golden Wheel, LiveScore's Daily Free Game, Monopoly's Free Parking Picks, Paddy Power's Wonder Wheel and Sky's Prize Machine. NetBet's Wheel of Gold and MrQ's Friday drop pay cash with a cap. BetVictor's Guaranteed Prize Wheel pays cash prizes as cash and spin prizes under its bonus rule, and Coral's Rewards Grabber pays spins whose winnings become a restricted bonus.
Two terms apply to all of them. Most wheels open only after a deposit: BetMGM's "at least one successful deposit of £10 or more", LiveScore's "funded your Account once and have been age verified". And the wheel spin itself expires daily, so a prize not claimed by midnight is forfeited. Cash, uncapped, on a wheel that spins without a deposit is the ideal daily prize, and the no-wagering bonus list is ordered that way to bring you the closest thing to it on our roster.
